There was a problem reading your eID. You may not have left the eID card in the card reader long enough.
If this does not solve the issue:
- Make sure your eID chip is facing up in the card reader.
- Check whether the eID software is installed. You can download the latest version here: https://eid.belgium.be/
- Run the test to verify everything is working correctly: https://iamapps.belgium.be/tma
- Try again
