There was a problem reading your eID. You may not have left the eID card in the card reader long enough.
 

If this does not solve the issue:

  1. Make sure your eID chip is facing up in the card reader.
  2. Check whether the eID software is installed. You can download the latest version here: https://eid.belgium.be/
  3. Run the test to verify everything is working correctly: https://iamapps.belgium.be/tma
  4. Try again
